Minutes of an ordinary meeting of the Mosgiel-Taieri Community Board held in the Downes Room, Mosgiel Service Centre, Hartstonge Avenue, Mosgiel on Wednesday 03 August 2022, commencing at 5.02 pm.

1.1       Public Forum - The StarJam Charitable Trust

 

The request to speak in the public forum was withdrawn.

 

2          Apologies

Apologies were received from Brian Peat and Brian Miller.

4          Declarations of interest

Members were reminded of the need to stand aside from decision-making when a conflict arose between their role as an elected representative and any private or other external interest they might have.

a)     Confirms the public part of the minutes of the Mosgiel-Taieri Community Board meeting held on 08 June 2022 as a correct record.

6          Project Fund

 

Consideration was given to the funding application from the Star Jam Charitable Trust for $2,000.00 to assist with a music based workshop

a)     Approves a grant to The StarJam Charitable Trust of  $2,000.00 towards a music based workshop.

Mosgiel and Taieri Emergency Group. - Joy Davis provided a verbal update

Outram Emergency Group - Dean McAlwee provided a verbal update.
