EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
1. Members are reminded of the need to stand aside from decision-making when a conflict arises between their role as an elected representative and any private or other external interest they might have.
2. Elected members are reminded to update their register of interests as soon as practicable, including amending the register at this meeting if necessary.
3. Staff members are reminded to update their register of interests as soon as practicable.
That the Council: a) Notes/Amends if necessary the Elected Members' Interest Register attached as Attachment A; and b) Confirms/Amends the proposed management plan for Elected Members' Interests. c) Notes the Executive Leadership Team Members’ Interest Register. |

Hearing Scheduled for the Annual Plan and Late Submissions

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
1 The purpose of this report is to provide the Councillors with a schedule of submitters wishing to present their views at the Annual Plan hearings to be held on 1 and 2 May 2023, and to consider whether or not to accept late submissions received.
2 Approximately 380 Submissions have been received with 59 Submitters wishing to present their submissions to Councillors. Submissions closed on 21 April 2023.
3 At the time of writing this report, four submissions have been received since the closing date. We are aware that three further requests for submitting a late submission have been received. These, along with any others will be tabled at the meeting.
RECOMMENDATIONS That the Council: a) Considers whether to allow the late submissions to be accepted. |
DISCUSSION
4 Hearings for the Annual Plan will be held as follows:
Monday 1 May 9.00 am to 4.30 pm.
Tuesday 2 May 9.00 am to 4.00 pm.
5 Attached to this report is the Annual Plan Speaking Schedule (Attachment A). Please note that the schedule for next week is subject to change. An updated scheduled will be emailed to Councillors as necessary.
Late submissions
6 Submissions closed at 1 p.m. on 21 April 2023. Five late submissions received, have been tagged as “late submissions” and have not been assigned topics. Late submissions have been received from:
