In a report from Enterprise Dunedin an update was provided on the Infometrics Annual Economic Profile to March 2022 and Statistics New Zealand estimates to November 2022. |

New Zealand Centre of Digital Excellence (CODE) Limited Update

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
1 The attached report has been prepared by the New Zealand Centre of Digital Excellence Limited (CODE Ltd). The report provides an update on CODE activities between July 2022 and April 2023.
2 This is the first report by CODE Ltd to the Economic Development Committee (EDC) since Dunedin City Council (DCC) novated its responsibility for CODE to the new company. DCC retains a 49% shareholding in the company and CODE activities significantly contribute to the Dunedin 2013-23 Economic Development Strategy.
3 Murray Strong (CODE Ltd Chair), Adam La Hood (Council’s appointed Director to the Board of CODE Ltd) and Tim Ponting (Chief Executive of CODE Ltd) will attend the EDC to speak to the report.
