1.1 Sewerage System in Waitati
Gisele Laven will be in attendance to discuss a sewerage system in Waitati.
1.2 Seacliff Wastewater Treatment Plant Upgrade
Alex McAlpine will be in attendance to discuss the Seacliff wastewater treatment plant upgrade.
At the close of the agenda no apologies had been received.
Note: Any additions must be approved by resolution with an explanation as to why they cannot be delayed until a future meeting.

A report from Civic provided a copy of funding applications for the Board’s consideration and an update on the amount in the Board’s discretionary fund. A project completion form was received from the Friends of the Taieri Willow. |

9 Board Representation and Roles |
|
|
Board members provided an update on activities, which included: Cycleways Geraldine Tait advised of a group keen to assist with this and also advised that an area of a proposed cycleway on Coast Road would require street lighting.
Keep Dunedin Beautiful Geraldine Tait advised that the Trees for Families planting day was being held on 3 September. She also advised that the Keep Dunedin Beautiful awards were soon and to think about potential nominations.
Moana Gow Swimming Pool Committee Andy Barratt attended a Committee meeting recently and advised the process of how to become a member of the pool.
OneCoast Recycling Geraldine Tait provided an update on site improvements and that another container may be needed. Andy Barratt and Judy Martin attended the Infrastructure Services Committee Public Forum recently to provide an update to the Councillors on OneCoast.
Community Engagement Sonya Billyard and Andy Barratt discussed preparing articles for the next newsletter.
Truby King Recreation Reserve Management Committee Andy Barratt advised that he and Mark Brown had recently conducted a walkaround with contractors to inspect where possible drainage was needed. He also advised that there was a potential site within the Reserve that could be used to hold Trees for Families plantings event.

2 All Road Controlling Authorities in New Zealand are required to develop a speed management plan in accordance with the Setting of Speed Limits Rule 2022. As a Road Controlling Authority, Council has developed a draft Speed Management Plan that is proposing revised speed limits for many areas within the Dunedin City area. It is inviting submissions on the draft plan from 1 September to 21 September 2023.
3 A copy of the proposed speed limits for the Waikouaiti Coast Community Board area are attached for your information and consideration is at Attachment A.
Waikouaiti Coast Vegetation Programme 2023/2024
4 A copy of the Transport team’s vegetation maintenance schedule 2023/2024 for the Waikouaiti Coast is attached for the Board’s information is at Attachment B. It outlines the timeframe for mowing, routine roadside weed spraying, noxious weed control and general maintenance.
5 Please note that the maintenance schedule is indicative only, as the programme is dependent on weather conditions, particularly for spraying activities.

1 The Community Board Plan is tabled for discussion at each meeting for the purpose of review and update as required by the Board.
The Board’s Community Plan assists to contribute to the Council’s 10-year plan with focus on:
· new and current priorities (in order of importance with justification and estimated costs for each) for inclusion in the DCC 10-year Plan
· items the Board would like for delivery to the community (for items that would not require support or funding from the DCC, over and above the Community Board funding)
